How Often Should You Restring Your Racquet?
It depends on how often you play, how you hit and the strings you use. A good rule of thumb: restring as many times a year as you play in a week, so a player who is out three times a week should restring about three times a year. For club players we recommend a fresh string job at least every three months to keep the racquet playing at its best.
Your strings will also tell you when it is time. If your shots start losing accuracy, or you have to swing noticeably faster and harder to get the same topspin as when the racquet was freshly strung, the strings have lost tension and should be replaced. Fit is great, it’s just been two weeks but good so far.
When I had an attack of plantar fasciitis, years ago, my podiatrist said I needed shoe inserts for arch support. They were fine for closed shoes, but sandals? No way. Sole Insole inserts to the rescue! I love them and I get arch support in my sandals all the hot summer! They are washable, stick back on and last a long time.
They carried my favorite shoes that has been discontinued. There are only a few pairs left in my size and they had it!
