Diadem Project Bublik 100 Tennis Racquet
Description
The 100 is the friendlier side of Project Bublik, the line Alexander Bublik built with Diadem. He competes with the 98; the 100 takes that same design and opens it up. The hoop grows to 100 sq in and the pattern moves to 16 x 19, which spaces the main strings further apart, so the ball leaves the face with more height and more bite than it does off the 98. The thicker 23 - 26 - 23 beam returns more energy on shorter, defensive swings.
At 300 g and 4 pts head light it is quick to line up on returns and easy to hold steady at net, and the 64 stiffness reading keeps the response from turning harsh on off centre hits. Only two grams lighter than the 98 on paper, but a noticeably more generous racquet to play.
This is the pick for a club player who wants help finding depth without dropping to a genuinely light frame. If you want the same shape with less weight to carry, the Team 100 is 20 g lighter with identical head size, pattern and stiffness.
