Description
Rush Pro 5 Padel Men's Padel Shoes
The Rush Pro 5 Padel is the padel-court build of Wilson's Rush Pro 5 platform: same family as the tennis shoe, but with a Duralast outsole and a chassis tuned for pivoting rather than sliding along a baseline. This is the Gray Dawn/Black colorway.
The trade here is firmness for response. A dual-density midsole, a compressed sockliner and a TPU speed plate under the forefoot make the shoe quick off the mark and stable under a hard cut, but none of that is plush — players coming from a soft, cushioned shoe will notice the platform is stiffer. Drop-in construction offsets some of it by seating the foot down inside the midsole, which lowers the ride and tightens the hold.
Key Features
- Duralast outsole — a high-abrasion rubber, tuned here for the pivots and short slides a padel court asks for.
- TPU chassis with EndoFit midfoot wrap — the two work together to stop the foot sliding across the footbed on a hard change of direction.
- Dual-density midsole — firmer where you push off, softer where you land, so the shoe returns energy without going dead.
- Compressed sockliner — a denser footbed that holds its shape deeper into a long match than standard foam.
- Drop-in construction — the foot sits down into the midsole rather than on top of it, which lowers the feel and tightens the hold.
- TPU speed plate — stiffens the forefoot for quicker push-off out of the split-step.
- Ceramic 5D reinforcement — added protection at the wear points without much weight penalty.
- Engineered sandwich mesh upper — breathable, and light for a shoe with this much structure in it.
Specifications
- Sport: Padel
- Gender: Men's
- Construction: Low-top, drop-in
- Upper: Textile (engineered sandwich mesh)
- Lining: Textile
- Outsole: Duralast rubber

Who It's For
- Competitive padel players who play multiple times a week and wear shoes out quickly.
- Movers who cut hard and want the foot locked over the platform rather than rolling off it.
- Players who slide into the walls and need the outsole and toe area to survive it.
- Anyone who has found lighter padel shoes too soft in the midfoot under load.
- Players who want a connected, low-to-the-ground feel from a supportive shoe.
Why Buy This Shoe
This is the padel-specific build of the Rush Pro 5 platform — same family as the tennis version, different outsole and chassis tuning for a padel court. Against the Hurakn Pro V2 it is the stiffer, more structured, more expensive option; against the Bela Tour it trades some of the wrap-around support for a lighter, quicker feel. If you play mostly on tennis courts, buy the tennis Rush Pro 5 instead — the outsole compounds are not interchangeable in practice.
Choose it if you play hard and often enough to destroy softer shoes, and if a firm, responsive platform suits you more than a plush one. Players who want cushioning first, or who play once a week, will get better value from the Hurakn Pro V2. Wilson's brief does not supply a heel-to-toe drop or a confirmed per-shoe weight for this model.
